Weekly What’s Up: The Container Park

This past week has been insane! But the best part, overall, had to have been the weekend. This past weekend, I went to the Mad Hatter Pageant. There hats made by local performing arts high schoolers were shown off to the public by teenage beauty queens from all over the west coast. It was hosted by family friend Mac King, a hilarious magician on the Strip (check him out here).

The hats were amazing but even more amazing was the band. Tommy Ward & Swayd performed and killed it on stage. Like them on Facebook by clicking their names above. We also found this cool shop called GabyOlivia with the cutest and most unique materials including the rose gold skeleton necklace (which I got bored and styled) and journals made from Panda Poo.

Then the girls and I (Sky and Melanie Mills) sat down with a large cheese pizza, cokes, and chips and watched Spirited Away, an amazing Miyazaki film, writing reviews all night!

In the morning, we wrote a couple more reviews before we decided that we needed some chocolate chip pancakes. Melanie made the perfect gingerbread man and then we all decided to make a snowman.

Thus, the great weekend was coming to a close as we wrote a little more.

To end this fabulous Sunday, I sat in my room, watching X-Men and writing more reviews on Figment!
