In the next four weeks I will be breaking down four of the most common mental illnesses that I have experiences with.
Each Monday, I will reveal the theme of the week and post on my social media asking if anyone has questions or comments on these specific occurrences. Make sure you’re following me on Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat to keep up and be featured in the end-of-the-week post.
I will publish a new post every day (except Sundays) about these themes for the next four weeks, delving into new perspectives in each post.
Each Saturday, I will publish the special “Q&A” post using your questions and comments to dispel myths and help spread the word about mental illness.
At the end of this month-long adventure, I hope to have helped people who know those struggling with these mental illnesses learn more and come up with a plan of how to help their friends and family. I also hope that I can help those struggling to see that they are not alone.
One of my biggest struggles is feeling alone in this world and I am slowly — very slowly — crawling out of the dark hole that is my mental health.
This week’s theme is anxiety so please send me any questions or comments that you may have before Friday evening and I will try to feature you in my Q&A post. If you would prefer to remain anonymous, please tell me and I will post the question or comment without a name.
Thank you and tune in later tonight for the first of 24 posts.
